- Usage Data: We track games played, scores achieved, reading history, and progress through Bible study content to provide personalized experiences and track your learning journey.
- Payment Data: Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. Stripe may share limited transaction details (such as the last four digits of your card and billing address) with us for record-keeping purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain Bible Brilliant services, including games, reading plans, and study content.
- To track your progress, scores, and achievements across the platform.
- To facilitate church group tournaments and leaderboards for subscribed organizations.

Cookies and Tracking
Bible Brilliant uses the following tracking technologies:
- Google Analytics (GA4): We use GA4 analytics to understand how visitors interact with our platform. GA4 is loaded only after you provide consent through our cookie consent banner.
- localStorage: We use browser localStorage to maintain your session, authentication token, subscription tier, and user preferences. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.
- Cookie Consent: We provide a cookie consent mechanism that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies before they are set.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly as needed to operate Bible Brilliant:
- Stripe: For secure payment processing of subscriptions and one-time purchases.
- Cloudflare: For website hosting, content delivery, and database infrastructure.
- Groq AI: For generating Plain Speak Bible translations. Text passages are sent to Groq for processing; no personal user data is included in these requests.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- User data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases with access controls and encryption at rest.
- Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Children's Privacy
Bible Brilliant is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such data.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You can view your account data at any time through your profile page.
- Update: You can update your display name and account preferences through your profile page.
- Delete: You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us via email.
